The ScaleUp Institute with Dame Julia Hoggett, CEO of the London Stock Exchange, Julia Prescot CBE, Chair at the Port of Tyne at the National Maritime Innovation Hub and the institutes key partners, are hosting a ScaleUp Britain event on the 12th November 2026 at the National Maritime Innovation Hub.

This event seeks to shine a spotlight on this region and showcase the opportunity and potential in the North East and is open to all scaling businesses as well as ecosystem players supporting these businesses. 

Helping to drive awareness of support and offerings available to address scaleup challenges; connect investors and scaleups and facilitate further collaboration between investors, advisors, and the public and private sector in addressing scaling business’s needs.  

The event will commence at 14:00 on the 12th November, followed by series of sessions, activities and showcases, including a networking lunch. The event will finish at 17:00.
